Having an apprehensive child give me a hug and leave with a smile on his/her face.

Most Satisfying Case
A family brought their eight-year-old son in to see me. He had knocked out his front tooth playing soccer and was in terrible pain. The family was afraid he was going to lose the tooth forever. Fortunately, I reimplanted the tooth and stabilized it. After many visits and follow-up x-rays, he still has the tooth. He and the tooth are both doing well.

My Special Story
When I was a child, I always felt comfortable going to the dentist. I went to a pediatric dentist and loved it. While in high school and college, I worked as a dental assistant for the same pediatric dentist. I enjoyed watching him treat small children in such a kind and friendly manner. He always tried to make it fun for the staff and patients. Today, I am blessed with the opportunity to make others feel the same and I love it. He was my inspiration to become a pediatric dentist.
